This paper deals with the case of researchers in archaeology working with a corpus of documents. We aim at building methods and tools in order to make their documentary tasks easier. Our approach emphasizes the human, exploratory and contextual aspects of this activity. The indexing model (acyclic graph) and filtering algorithm we propose provides assistance in information retrieving, indexing, structured documents reading, annotating and note sharing.
