Relaxation of ytterbium in palladium
Résumé
We show that a satisfactory fit to the temperature dependence of the relaxation rate of ytterbium in palladium can be obtained by including the aspherical part of the direct Coulomb interaction between 4f electrons and the d part of the conduction electrons.
