The latter is always observed when the plasmon or the molecular exciton presents a large oscillator strength (high-Q plasmonic cavities or J-aggregates). We report here the observation of a strong coupling regime between the surface plasmon resonance of a nanoparticle array and the molecular excited state of photochromic molecules, both of them presenting weak oscillator strength. %G English %L hal-02484505 %U https://utt.hal.science/hal-02484505 %~ UNIV-PARIS7 %~ CNRS %~ UNIV-TROYES %~ INC-CNRS %~ USPC %~ UTT %~ UNIV-PARIS %~ UP-SCIENCES %~ ITODYS %~ TEST2-HALCNRS
